The sun came out today

This morning started with continued rain from the weekend, but late morning the sun came out and stayed out.  When I got out of work, I dropped my stuff off at home and was trying to decide whether to go to Tony Knowles Park for a walk and birdwatching or to Lake Hood to watch the float planes come in.  You can see who won.  I just can't help it but I love watching the float planes take off in the middle of the lake and land in the small area right by the park.  The sky was beautiful, the clouds unbelievable and the planes were fun to watch! Hachiko / Shibuya / Sushi /and pronouncing Japanese words quiz

Last night, we met Eric's friend Jeffery and Monica's friend, Chester for conveyor belt sushi. Jeffery is from London and he taught English for 2 years over here and now attends the same University that Eric does. His mother is Japanese and father is British. Chester went to college with Monica in California. He is over here for a few months studying Japanese. He is full Chinese and wants to stay in Japan longer. We were going for conveyor belt sushi. I love sushi and when Eric lived in Miyazaki, I had it there. It is fun to watch all the food go by and then to pick what you want. The only downfall is sometimes it goes around alot and when you pick it, it is not hot. Still good, just not hot. We met in Shibuya, which is the largest "meet up" place in Tokyo. Is there gravity in a swimming pool? Tawk amongst yourselves!

Today Mommy Monica wrote me a map to get to Pool Camp. Adult Day Care is fun! lol Yesterday we visited the pool to see the times and schedule to see if I can fit it into my schedule. They said I can try it out one time before paying for it. So today was that day. So I walked my 1/2 mile to the pool, did my physical therapy, looking like the American idiot. Walking forward, then backward for 20 minutes, then some leg to the side lifts, then bicycling in water, squatting, and walking for another 20 minutes. All this in water up to my waist. The whole pool is the same depth of water. It is incredible how much better my back feels after only one time going. I think I have to have a pool nearby all year round. These pictures are of the application to the pool that Monica had to fill out for me, the pool schedule that Monica had to help me read, and my new I AM LOST CARD because I LOST my first card.
